Relast

Relast is a nation in central Vestar, north of the Great Rend, and is one of the longest‑standing kingdoms in Sentretta. With a deep martial tradition embodied by the Knights of Relast and their militant arm, alongside the Rangers of Lake Wood, Relast has long stood as a bastion of civilization against the Wild and its darker forces.

History

Foundation

Relast was founded in the Age of the Ancients by a coalition of elves, humans, and dwarves displaced by the Great Rend. This alliance formed the backbone of the kingdom and set the tone for Relast’s enduring emphasis on unity between races.

The Twins—great sister cities of elven and dwarven origin—were established along the Herefall River and became the capital of the kingdom. Standing as a living symbol of inter‑racial cooperation, the Twins have withstood numerous sieges throughout their history and are even rumored to be a favored target of the Nomad Tribes, who have repeatedly sought their destruction.

The Age of the Lich

During the reign of the Arch Lich, the people of Relast were enslaved, transformed, or driven from the continent entirely. The kingdom itself effectively ceased to function during this period.

It is believed that the bloodlines of Relast returned to the region after the fall of the Arch Lich. This belief is supported by the re‑emergence of the cultural traits and physical features for which the people of Relast were known prior to the Lich’s dominion.

Special Forces

Knights of Relast

The Knights of Relast form the core of the kingdom’s martial tradition, serving as both defenders of the realm and symbols of its enduring strength.

Rangers of Lake Wood

The Rangers of Lake Wood are an ancient order whose origins are lost to myth. In the present age, they serve as a vital component of Relast’s defensive forces, patrolling the forests and mountains along the kingdom’s borders. Their role is to detect threats early and alert the armed forces of Relast to any impending danger.
